The batteries were dead after just a couple evenings of putting this on while our son fell asleep. Then I tried to change the batteries and the plastic tab to open the battery case just shattered at a very light touch. Then I unscrewed the whole bottom to get to the battery case. Then I realized they actually glued the battery case closed. I scraped off the glue & finally got to the batteries to replace them. Then I tried to put it back and it wouldn’t stay together. The bottom piece just fell apart. I glued it on (without glueing the battery inside unlike the makers of this) to keep it together. Then as I was putting it back on our sons dresser the batteries just fell out. And they are the little round watch batteries - a choking hazard and toxic if swallowed. So this is not going to be staying here. I shouldn’t have bothered putting so much effort into this. What a waste for a total piece of junk.Very small, not really a lamp but a night light.Cheap battery lasted one dayproduct arrived broken
