Needed tall, sturdy lamps for the living room and these are that and more. They are seriously heavy and will not easily tip over. The chrome and crystal don't look cheap at all, very pretty lamps. The black fabric shades are sleek and handsome, and completely put together, just have to take off the protective plastic wrapped around them. The cord is wrapped in woven grey fabric, this small detail makes it stand apart from standard plastic electrical cords. The metal base is glossy, solid and heavy, the cut crystal balls perfectly aligned. Even the harp assembly was substantial and heavier than most. Overall these lamps look much more expensive than they actually cost. I am amazed how they blend so well with our wood bedroom furniture giving it a modern luxurious feel. They arrived a day earlier than expected, well packaged, took two of us to remove them from the box. Easy assembly.
