Purpose of buying for me: small to place on a bedside table, low height, sturdy touch lamp, ease of turning on/off a light by touch; less about aesthetics and more about functionality as it does not match my decor in room; I'm ok with that. A touch featured lamp was the main purpose.What I like: Not big, not easily tippable when fumbling to find in the dark, touch component has worked perfectly so far to tap light on/off, The base is only slightly wider than the body of lamp so again not easily tippable (tipping over). The wider but not too wide base-to-body gives it a more "stable" grounding to table which is a plus for a "touch" use lampHow long have I had lamp: Using for about a month nightly continues to work as expectedAesthetics: For a modern style home great or if wanting a subtle lamp on a small or busy table perfect; think minimalism kind of lookAs expected: Yes; 3 levels of light and only wanted to use for quickly turning a light on/off at bedside; tap lightly to turn on and continued tapping for softer to higher level of light.
