This is a well-made, beautiful lamp and one I'm proud to have in my home. That said, I was disappointed to find it came without a bulb. I should have known this would be the case but frankly, didn't give it a thought when I ordered. (The specifications stated: "Light Source Type: LED"...there was no indication that the lamp was NOT included). Regardless, it takes a bulb with a candelabra base and given the lamp was more for decoration than actual use, I opted for a standard 25-Watt incandescent bulb.More disconcerting was the alleged ease of assembly (i.e., lack thereof). While well built, the springs used to hold the globe to the base and the top to the globe are as as strong as an ox! Though I consider myself strong (I'm in the gym everyday for an hour), it took every bit of strength I could muster to pinch the springs together while maneuvering the globe around the arms. I seriously doubt most people could accomplish this on their own. Giving it One Star for Ease of Assembly is a gift. It deserved zero.
